The art world is often filled with buzzwords, but one term that doesn’t resonate with me is "emerging artists." The constant calls for "emerging artists" are overwhelming.
I prefer to think of myself as slowly unfolding like an enormous Oriental scroll, with the images and their narrative gradually being revealed. When I finally leave for another dimension, the scroll will fold back on itself, and I can choose to carry it with me or leave it for others to discover.
