Chris and I had grand ideas about building our own house when we came to live in Ireland, but for many reasons, that plan didn't go according to plan! We bought a caravan instead, not quite the home we dreamed of, but it was ours. After 4 years of caravan life, we eventually moved into a house and the caravan became my Studio.
The blocks and the ropes were literally to stop the caravan from being blown out to sea. Whatever happened to the door!
The youngest child being fed a boot. Actually, we mainly lived off mullet, which began to taste a bit like boot after a while! The Legless Poster in the background was the poster for a band Chris was in.
Caravan Life pre internet, mobile phones or digital cameras!
Me getting serious in the caravan with all the partitions removed and now a studio. It worked until I couldn't move for the buildup of work around me!
